Nice job Margaret! The next thing to work on is giving each root some form. If the roots are elongated cylinders, which many of them are, you have to have a small range of tones to convey their cylindrical form. Because they are so narrow, you obviously can’t fit in the entire range of tones, but there has to be enough to emphasize the form of each root. Definitely a challenge, but roots can be a lot of fun to draw! I see you are really applying yourself! Keep up the good work! It will get easier the more you do it!
