Nice combo of observation and imagination. 🙂 You can try adding some green watercolour to brighten up those leaves – make sure you leave good highlights. Same thing on the cherries – identify where your highlights are. leave those bright, and then add a layer of watercolour in the non-highlight areas to richen it up. The watercolour also helps smooth out the rough spots of the colour pencils on paper – so that we can emulate the smooth surface of the cherries.
Half is from imagination. Leaves from my cherry tree. Cherries from the fruit bowl. Again needed to colour!!
