Hi Maura! The items I talked about on the pomegranate post also pertain here as to the grainy appearance and the cast shadow. Oranges are challenging to create the texture, which illustrating dimples helps create that texture. There are a number of ways of achieving that and I would recommend experimenting with that. Right now I think the graininess is too dominant. There are examples of successful citrus texture on the ArtFeed and Draw Botanical as well as other images online. You could add a little more shadow toning. The red/violet pencil can be good for that for red and orange subjects.
