@mfukudilworth this is looking good! I love your subject here. What an interesting sprouting seed! I think you could work just a bit on the shape of the cut mango. It feels almost like “too perfect” a circle… Something about that perspective just feels a little awkward. Perhaps it just needs some shading to show that it’s tipped back in space, or the shape could be altered to be more… egg-like, or irregular? Beautiful color in the flesh and nice highlight on the whole fruit. And again, the details on the seed are awesome. Lovely work!
Machi, I love this page — the rich, clean reds to yellow-oranges, the delicate hairs on the pit, & the convincing details of the seeds. The page has the effect of really getting to know a friend. It brings the taste of this fruit into my memory.
