Great colors! I really like the edges of the cup shape. And your subtle coloration of the white petals! I’m a bit confused about your drawing. Especially the bottom petal. To me it looks too long. Also, though I love the way you have handled the papery quality of the stem, I’m not sure what is happening with the area where it meets the flower.
Thanks for your comments. I agree that after I finished the drawing I noticed that the stem would not meet the flower from the angle that I drew it. I. too, feel the bottom petal is too long. I measured numerous times but it still looks wrong. Just finished Wendy’s Drawing and Measuring class last Sunday. I have a long way to go to get things in the right place. I started another daffodil today and hope to do better. Thanks again, Mary Jo

Agreed; the colors and shading are beautiful here, but I would do some more drawings to practice perspective and measuring. 🙂 Beautiful work!
Thank you, Vern. Yes, I really need to practice measuring and perspective. I have started to put a one inch graph on my paper to see if that will help me get my measurements in the right place. I have a clear 4×12 inch plastic quilting ruler which I have also tried to use to see more clearly. It is divided into one inch squares. It seems to help. Again, thank you for helping me focus more on the essentials.
