Vern showed us how to use the spoon to find the highlights in the tulip petal-front and back. Hold the spoon in the same position as the petal you are drawing and under the same light. This helps to see where the high lights are. It really helped me because I found it difficult to to see the highlight on the petal that I was drawing.
