Nathalie, you are not behind at all! We all work at our own pace and on different lessons all the time. This branch is looking good! I am glad to see that you are practicing arc tone bars and that you attempted a drawing of a real branch.
My suggestion is to work your highlight a bit more and break it up a bit with some color so that it doesn’t look like a straight line. Use the texture of the branch to guide you and make it “shimmer.” I can’t really see your cast shadow, so maybe it is a bit light, but don’t work it too much, because it’s better for it to appear too light than too dark. 😉 This takes a lot of practice. Great work!
