Hi Nicole, you have the right idea with the sphere shape for the apple and the cup shaped indentation around the stem. Those variegated hues of red to green can be tricky. I’d like to see those green areas integrated more. It seems something is happening with the right side top of the apple. That dark edge isn’t making sense to me. The left side looks good. Also watch that reflective light. It needs to transition more smoothly in to the apple. Looks a bit too linear.
Yes colors are challenging! I have a drawing of variegated apples in my portfolio. They were quite fun to do. Not exactly the type of apple you are doing here, but might be helpful to see how I rose to the challenge.

Thanks for the feedback! Colors are way harder than just pencil, I’m enjoying the challenge.
