Hi Nicole- you have good colors and saturation! I think of apples as usually being shiny and I am missing the main highlight that would help convey that. Whether you lost the toning when you added the color or didn’t have toning to begin with – I would work on it now. Especially with rich colors you have to periodically re-emphasize the toning as you go along so they don’t get lost. Establishing a highlight and working on the range of tones will bring this apple to the next level! You could use the red/violet for the toning. Also outlining the perimeter with a red verithin pencil will help crisp up the edges.

Great job setting the stem into the center of that well! And nice work following the cross-contour lines with the pattern! I agree that a shiny highlight will really add a finishing touch to this drawing. Awesome job!
