Lovely. What type of flower is this.

thank you ! ah . . he is .some sort of legendary Himalayan poppy… his story intrigued me- apparently, he is the bane of many gardeners, who go to greatest lengths to coerce him to grow away from his natural habitat – a celestial blue, and yet a real devil to grow… seems he withers away and suddenly vanishes just when the gardeners breathe a sigh of relief, believing he has set up shack to stay… really, i am just trying to fix my drawing skills and to become better with colour in time for spring, so these are all very fast sketches, one per day or so… once my drawing and sense of colour are a bit improved, i will work more on details and etc etc etc.. .. . ! but, waiting on my budding flowers to bloom, i liked his story . . .
