Hi Nancy- What a great subject – very cool garlic! The thing that strikes me about your drawing is that it looks more like a flower than the garlic head. There are a couple of things that have caused that. On your drawing, the points where the cloves meet seem to be more sharply recessed than the actual garlic which has more softer, shallower transitions where the cloves meet. I would not expect to see the highlights on the right side and I would expect to see more darker tones there. Nice job on the roots. You are off to a good start and I think if you revisit the areas I pointed out you can bring it to the next level. Good job!
