Pamela, these are looking good! I recommend working on your light tones and highlight a bit more. You want more of a transition to that highlight, rather than a sudden “jump” from midtone to the white of the paper. Work on those #1-#3 tones a bit more. Try practicing in another area of your paper with a really sharp pencil and just barely touch the paper. Then go back to your cylinders and try to gradually lead up to that white highlight. The highlight also does not have to be a straight line.. you can “mess it up” a little bit to make it shimmer and look more realistic. Great work! Keep going! 🙂
