Good job, Pamela. Do another one! Try propping the tomato up on something for a different view – some folks prop it up with an eraser, or a napkin, whatever works to hold it upright and make a little still life subject for yourself. Get your single light source shining on it from your left shoulder area (or right if you’re a lefty). Try to tone your form first with your red violet pencil if you have it. 🙂

Very nice color and highlight here, Pamela! I agree with Sam; try from another angle and position the light so that the cast shadow is on a little more of an angle, rather than all along that whole right side. Great job!
