Hi Pam- nice job on this leaf. There are a couple of areas I would revisit. Most leaf veins taper as they move toward the outside edges. Even the center vein tapers from one end to the other and not be the same width as it appears here. The same with some of your secondary veins. Be careful not to have an outline around the perimeter of the leaf. The left edge would be lighter because it is closer to the light source. Also be aware that both sides of the center vein would not be the same dark tone. The right side of the center vein would be lighter because it would catch the light. Lastly, if this is a dark green leaf I would add more dark greens instead of so much expanse of the yellow/green. You are off to a great start !
