The Practice of Botanical Drawing Discussion Board 7 years, 11 months ago Foxglove for my sister in law. First time I’m giving a drawing to someone. So please give me advice how to make it better.
It looks great to me! Hopefully, Wendy, Vern or someone with more experience than I have can give you feedback. I think your sister-in-law will be thrilled!

This is a great start! Now, though I want you to think that each flower is a very round tubular shape, and methodically make sure to tone with the correct light source to make each flower look more 3D and less flat. Also shade the flowers on the shadow side a bit darker to make the whole group of flowers look 3D as well. I know you can do it!!!!!
