Started on this lady slipper during Wendy’s hike and draw workshop at Mohonk Preserve, and finished it up at home. It was such a wonderful experience. The hike was beautiful. I’ve never seen so many lady slippers in one spot. It was a gorgeous day. And I finally got to meet Sheila!

WOW, Pam, this is a stunner. I LOVE the way you’ve captured the veins here. And your attention to the structure is very apparent. Well done! Who would have thought you started this sitting on the ground in a pile of leaves! 😉
