Thanks guys! I really want to go back in and add more darks to the right side and the stem, because I want to try to get a little more 3D form, but I ended up with a detached retina. As part of the surgery, they injected a gas bubble that’s meant to continuously hold the detached retina to the back of the eye to get it to reattach. So, I have to hold my head in a specific position all day and night to let gravity keep the bubble in the right spot. So, I won’t be able to draw for a while.(. Please send good vibes my way.
Wonderful, gorgeous artichoke Pam. Your drawing and colors are so clean and crisp and I marvel at how you put it all together. I’m sorry to hear about eye issues even tho it is a temporary situation it’s a lot to go through. Take care and be well. I look forward to seeing your forthcoming and many more, awesome botanicals.
