Nice variety of leaves here. I would still consider skinning up your secondary veins sometimes, or perhaps it isn’t even the vein but the white space next to it.

@pjcoulter3 Patty, your leaf variety is awesome. Again, great leaf profiles, shapes, and edges. The “open-book” toning and the veins could still use some tweaking, but you are seriously on your way to tackling this leaf lesson! I can’t wait to see you try them in color!! 😉
Thank you. Leaves and veins have always been a struggle, but these lessons have really helped. I actually enjoyed doing these although I can see where I could improve.
@pjcoulter3 It is an inspiration to see how you have so thoroughly embraced the leaf lesson. I can hardly wait to get to it! Thank you, Patty, for sharing! : )
Thanks Vanessa. I am doing an extra page with the Leaves in Color also because I don’t want to be so timid in tackling them. Especially that leaf “green” color. Appreciate your comments. I am actually finding them easier to do in color now.

Lovely leaves, Patty. I especially like the way the bamboo leaves look like one on top of the other.

WOW! What an inspiration, I am up to leaves now. You can really see the folds in these leaves.
