In keeping the feedback in mind on the acorn leaves. I toned down the veins by using watercolor pencil and then waterbrush. It seemed to work in darkening and toning down the very prominent leaf veins. I sure wish though that I had better recorded the highlights and shading when I had the leaves in hand last month.

Hi Karye, Yes great improvement on the leaves. Veining is so crucial, and the ability to draw subtle variations is great and will go a long way!
