I wanted to try drawing the Oxalis plant and the three leaf clover and tiny flowers. I bought the plant last week for St. Patrick’s Day. I used chrome oxide green for shading layered with May green. I hope it was okay to add another colored pencil. I had noticed May green being used in a couple of other botanical illustration books. It’s slightly more yellow than earth green yellowish and seemed creamier in how it went on the paper.
