I’m learning to water color and tried this drawing with just water color; no pencil. I had wanted the horse chestnut seed pod in the center to be the focus, but couldn’t get the leaf underneath it quite right. Is there some way to use pencil to improve that?
All pencil. I was tempted to do a wash behind this, but was afraid to try it. What else could help it to stop feeling like everything is floating in the air?
