Beautiful attention to detail in the center of this flower, Rita! And you dealt with the white petals very nicely. I wonder about maybe adding a liiiiittttle more dark in a few places and using your linework in the overlaps as a starting point and faaaade into the surface behind just a little more. For example, the top petal is behind those 2 on either side, and you have some nice line definition there in that overlap. But try to make that look less like a line and more like a light edge overlapping a darker petal. ? Does that make sense? Also, as those back 3 petals approach the center, they can gradually get a little darker, too. Play with this on tracing paper a bit first and see what you think… Gorgeous work. 🙂
