Gorgeous Rita! Personally I would tone down the highlights on the upper leaf. I find my eyes keep traveling there and it is distracting me from giving that amazing flower my full attention! That flower- wow!!!!!

Great catch, Doug. I agree, that top leaf (while it looks awesome and shiny) does compete for my attention. You could keep those light areas and just tone them down with a little green or cad yellow lemon? AMAZING petal work here, Rita!!! You’ve really maintained a softness here that I am especially fond of. 🙂
