As I said under the original photo I am waiting to hear your comments and suggestions. I wonder about doing it in color pencils.
Hi Ruthie, This is an awesome plant. What is it called? It would be great in colored pencil as well. In the future you can use a dark sepia colored pencil instead of graphite and then you can either layer color on top or leave it in graytones. With a graphite drawing you will not want to add color on top of the drawing as it would smudge. So you can start over in dark sepia and then layer color on top if you choose. This drawing looks good but be sure to make a clear difference between the overlaps what is in front and what is behind.
