Hi Ayse- your preparation is amazing! I am curious why the drawing on the left does not become your finished drawing? The finished drawing on the right is beautiful. Great colors, saturation and composition. The thing I like about the drawing on the left is that I see more highlights and toning. That is missing from the drawing on the right so it is harder to read which flower, bud, leaf, etc. is in front or behind, but it is hard to deny this is a beautiful page!

Hi Ayse! Nice to “see” you here! These are lovely studies! I especially like how you captured the complexity of that long sprig, with all its leaves and buds stacked on top of each other. I agree with Doug that I feel like there is a range of light tones that are sort of missing from this second drawing. The saturation is great, the drawing is exquisite; I just wish there was a little more to contrast the dark, saturated tones. Some carefully-placed light tones would really emphasize the depth and dimension here. Great work!!!
