If this is an apple, the fruit in the middle feels very tapered and not as round as I would imagine an apple to be. So, in short, I think you can work more on accurate shapes and forms (use your ruler to measure, and use your artistic license to adjust and smooth curves as you go so they feel more realistic); your toning and color technique is looking great!
