This is getting me excited for spring! Nice study of the inside of this daffodil. I’m loving that ovary cross-section. This photo/scan seems overexposed to me. Do you think you could try to take another photo? I find that I get my best photos outside on an overcast day or inside near a window, but not in direct bright sunlight – either in a shaded spot near a window or with the light diffused through a curtain. Natural light is key.
Thanks for your tips Pam. I’ve been using a scanner and sometimes it does seem to overexpose things. I enjoyed the cross section too, sometimes simple graphite can be so rewarding. I tried an outdoor image with my ipad, I’ll keep plunking away until I find a good solution.
