Looks great Sarah. I recommend a bit more saturated color on your greens. I think normally this leaf would be overall darker green so getting a bit more saturated will help the overall leaf feel darker.
Thank you Wendy! This leaf was actually on its way to fall color. I used yellow and red watercolors as a base, but I got way to much green on as I worked at toning the veins. Unintended consequence! Guess I should have toned with darker yellow and reds or browns?
Love the colors of this leaf Sarah. I really like doing the water color base. Helps me get started and I like the tooth it gives the paper.
