Hi Sharon- as I commented on your onion skin I think you need a stronger highlight. Even more so on the apple than the onion. The colors are very pretty, but I would revisit some areas. The apple would benefit from more toning both inside the stem well and also on the apple body. I would expand on the dark toning you have on the right and also transition thru the mid range tones as you move towards the highlight. Remember the toning lessons where there are 9 different tones. You want to apply a range of tones to your apple to really convey it’s form. You are off to a good start!

Great job with the surface contour here, and beautiful saturated red color! I agree with Doug–in order to make this apple feel round and shiny, leaving a white highlight is crucial.
