Ok, this is getting to be like those “find the differences between the two pictures “. The biggest struggle has been the stamens in the post petals fruit. I had made it too pink, only the flower stamens are that pink. So, I lightened/aged them according to what I really saw after looking again. I told you that change, but there are two more. And, open to suggestions! Thanks!
Very pretty! I think your work is colorful and beautiful. Nice job on the cross-section.

I like that you lightened those stamens, Sheila. I think that now that they are lighter, you could put just a few dark lines in there to sharpen that area. You added a little baby baby fruit next to the baby fruit!! Love that. This flower is incredible. You did SUCH a nice job on that. Re: the ripe fruit addition… I might practice on trace first just to get the placement right (I think you’re going to want it to fill a lot of that rectangular bottom space, so it may take a couple of tries), but I think that’s really going to be the icing on this cake. What a great drawing.
Vern, thanks for those really clear suggestions: a few dark lines between the stamens and tracing paper to work out the fresh fruit. By mid September I should be able to get that going!

Baby fruit for the win
Thanks, Laura. Pomegranates are one of my favorite plants because of the colors.

There’s one other addition 😄
