What a fun page! I love all the colors! These orbs are looking good and have more form now that you have included the lighter areas. If a subject has a shiny surface then the highlight will be a tighter circle as you have shown. If the surface is more of a matte finish there is a sort of halo around a softer more irregular shaped highlight. It would be good to practice some of those too, because a good amount of plant life has a matte finish. The position of the highlight on the bottom blue orb is the best of the lot remembering that the light is coming over your left shoulder at a 45 degree angle. The cast shadow on the middle green orb is the most successful. The angle back is good it just needs to be lighter. Some of the cast shadows have a whitish line between the subject and the cast shadow which should not be there. Your reflected highlights are well placed but they should be a little wider and a little lighter in color so they are more noticeable. Nice work!
Thank you. I will try it again. I seem to have a heavy hand and I have always had difficulty with the correct light source in drawing. I don’t know why. Back to the drawing board!!

Yeah! Looking good! Keep practicing. You are totally on your way. Agreed that the blue sphere at the bottom is most successful re: highlight position. The highlight on the orangey sphere just up and to the left of the blue one has a nice transition to the highlight, as if it were a matte finish, like Doug was saying. Do you see how it has some more light tones around it before it transitions to midtones? That gradual transition is so important in the light tones near the highlight.
