Lovely. One of the things I’ve been learning from looking at the work in this group is how seemingly mundane objects have their own unique beauty. Your garlic is. Great example of that.

I know what you mean about winter never ending. I think we are finally out of the woods here in upstate NY–but it was a long wait!! This garlic is lovely. I suggest just a bit more toning with sepia to make the bulb feel more 3-dimensional, and also some sepia along the shadow side of each “sprout” would really make this drawing pop. Great work!
