Firecracker, indeed!! This just pops off the page! The juxtaposition of the reds and the greens is really exciting for my eyeballs. Nice work adding some more shading–I think that adds some much-needed depth here. Great work!!!
Thanks so much for all the positive comments on the illustration….now I really, really, really need to work on the lettering that I was afraid spoiled the page.
I added some toning to better clarify overlaps
