Hi @whitecloud, these branches are looking good. Your shadows are a little dark, and I think you could make your highlight “shimmer” a little more and vary it so it doesn’t look like a white line down the whole branch. Your colors are lovely here. I really like these branches! Did you use an embosser to get that crackly texture on the left hand one and stippled texture on the right hand one? Very satisfying.

Hi Lise, thanks – yes I was happy with the texture. I didn’t use an embosser, as I didn’t have one – I did however use my daughter’s little tool that she uses for nail polish dots! 🙂 Looked pretty similar to an embosser from the photo. Improvise!

(I think it’s a very similar tool! Way to improvise!) 😉
