Love this! To shade yellow without getting muddy, save the Sepia till later when you want to accent the darkest of dark areas. For the first grisaille toning, try something like Earth Green, Warm Gray, or even Light Yellow Ochre to get some depth without muddiness. Have you checked out the Botanical Basics Lessons on Rolling and Twisting Forms? There are some good practice exercises there. Great work!!
