I always evaluate my view by deciding if that characteristic is something I want to be important or not. If it detracts from a composition I would adjust it in the future. Thanks Wendy. Your comment about losing the iconic fig leaf structure in the webinar was a lightbulb moment for me. That didn’t even occur to me when I was setting up the leaf to draw it. But so important! So many things to think about. Learned a ton from working on this.

They’ve been opening from the indoor temps. I’m really interested in getting bright yellows going. Watercolor pencil base helps me. -

Photo in the group The Practice of Botanical Drawing Discussion Board 7 years, 8 months agoCarol, yes! Actually when I tried to reply to your question, I couldn’t. I had to click on the photo and then comment in there. Are you trying to post media from your computer, or from your phone?
I’ve found that I can’t post media using safari on my phone, but can using chrome. Hope that helps.
