It’s so helpful when people share their process! I’m a little confused about the identification, though. I’m not seeing an oak seed (aka acorn). Could it be an oak gall?? Or is it the angle you chose? Just wondering. -

I keep looking until I find a branch where the leaves fall in a pleasing way, so I can’t take credit for that! I lay the branch down and draw from that position or sometimes use a flower frog. I just finished Wendy’s lesson on composition and it was so inspiring! ๐
