My friend says the plant drops seeds and they spread. I’ll go hang around until she gives me a little sprig of the yellow variety:) -

Beautiful drawing. You have such a sensitive toning technique. Is this on toned paper?

That long petal still bothers me, but I like the rest of the drawing so much, that I will accept it as a drooping petal.

So lovely! One of those I have trouble looking away from. Your toning is exquisite!

Lovely! It is such a challenge drawing a white flower on white paper. You have done a great job! I love the colors you have incorporated into the grays of the shadows.

Such a sweet drawing! It looks like this flower is a shy one. I like the way the details of the reproductive parts grab the viewer’s attention. It is so hard to draw flowers as they droop. I’d like to see less linear work and more toning to create the shapes of the petals. Gradiate the toning from the line edge more, so the line is not so…[Read more]

Wendy, congrats for replanting and saving the little one! I have not been so lucky with the sprouting beans I have drawn.

I love this even as a black and white drawing Sheila!
Me too what Doug said.
