A view from Tributary Farm in High Falls, NY. Our “field trip” during the Nature Journaling workshop at Hollengold this September. I chose this view that included the Mohonk Tower and an incredible bed of green and purple lettuces! 🙂

Had fun at the in-person Nature Journaling workshop at Hollengold Farm this September. Here is my journal page from the natural swimming pool, with a close-up of an interesting waterside flower, pickerelweed. I loved the way the flowers curled after blooming.

Hi Helene- another wonderful drawing! I agree with you that the addition of a small, flat leaf would help. Especially on the right side of the flower where there is a lot of negative space between the flower and the large leaves on the right side. I also agree with you about darkening the leaves.
