The heart shapes are the flowers. There is one seed, the one closest to the stem.

I like how you’ve captured that waxy ‘shine’ on the petal. It’s beautiful how the inside of the petal is a bolder colour than the outside! ( I think that is true of most tulip petals…yes???)

I’m struggling to get the concave and maintain color.

no, still snow covered here in the catskills! no signs of spring : ( This is a drawing from one of my first botanical drawing classes I took 15 years ago -it’s a copy of the original.

Going to add other “parts” as soon as I get another tulip. 🙂

Not finished, wondering about the centers of the persimmon tips and the squiggles around the center.
