These leaves look great Anne Marie! I am always picturing an open book when I draw leaves because it helps me remember where the highlights and shadows would be. I think Wendy explains it in her book.

You are getting there Anne Marie- the secondary veins are not as evident as they were on the previous post. Also when you look at a leaf you will often find that the secondary veins connect to the main vein. The left edge is now more defined, but be careful not to have it outlined. This drawing has gotten to the point where I’m not sure if it needs anything more and/or I’m afraid of ruining it. Does this happen to anyone else?
