You are getting there Anne Marie- the secondary veins are not as evident as they were on the previous post. Welcome to the ArtFeed Deborah! Your drawing is nicely rendered and your color selection and saturation on the beet are really good! Your main highlight is almost in the center and ideally should be over to the left a little. I would also make the outside edge of the highlight more irregular so it does not appear as such a distinct circle. Wonderful job!

These leaves are great!

I’m between knee surgeries so I decided the best way to recuperate was to get out the art supplies. I did this drawing from a leaf rubbing and couldn’t resist all those details!
