What a nice contrast to the more traditional style of your other Jathropa drawing Helene! The shadows really make it look like the leaf is sitting up off the page. I don’t see a shadow along the right side of the stem where I would expect to see one. Nice job!

Looks great Helene! I think the shadows are well placed and are a good tone! It is a beautifully rendered leaf!
