Really beautiful drawing. I love the colors. The texture of that lemon is very nice, and I love how you are showing the cut ope section of the lemon. That flower is my favorite part of this drawing. I LOVE how dark you got at the base of those reproductive parts – it really shows how those stamen and pistil are attached deep down in there. There is one little area of your drawing that I think could be adjusted a little. The part where the whole lemon meets the cut lemon: The curve of white pithy part of the peel (mesocarp) has the same curve as the bottom right edge of the whole lemon, making it look like the whole lemon is squishing that cut piece of lemon and putting a dent in it. I would consider adding in some more of the pulp making the pulp go to the edge of the whole lemon to make it look more like the whole lemon is overlapping the cut piece. Phew. That was a long sentence. This is such a beautiful drawing, Leslie. And I love that adorable bee!
