Here is a pomegranate and vanilla painting/drawing from a few years back. Notice the bright contrast on the seeds, think water drops!

  @wendy – thanks Wendy – your seeds are so much brighter than mine! Mine are really dark! Interesting. Here’s a photo of my real pomegranate.

  I decided to use ultramarine, sepia, alizarin crimson , scarlet red, and dark red. Mixed they give you that dark purplish color.
