What We’ll Practice

Over two relaxed, skill-building sessions, you’ll develop core botanical art techniques while completing pansy studies you’ll be proud of. You’ll learn how to:

• Build luminous color using watercolor washes
• Refine form, texture, and detail with colored pencil
• Create color studies of individual pansy petals
• Understand flower structure and gentle symmetry
• Layer media effectively for depth and realism
• Arrange simple yet compelling compositions
