Elizabeth- the shadows look better now that they are lighter. I think you could go farther and even eliminate some of them. I don’t think you need the shadows on the top between the persimmons. Also the shadow doesn’t need to go up so high on the right side. The right persimmon could use a little more shading on the left where it meets the other persimmon. Lastly, the reflected highlight on the right persimmon could be less of a thin line and not go up so high on the side. This is such a great drawing and I was not surprised it got such a positive reaction during the webinar!

I agree; the softened shadow helps me focus more on the beautiful fruits! And, yes, the shadow could scoot down and not run up the right side of the fruit on the right. 🙂 Great work.
