Hi Elizabeth- it is great to see your drawing come to life with color! The colors are beautiful! I would add a little more shading where the leaves overlap. Great job!

Agreed! This is looking lovely, Elizabeth. I think Doug is right about some more dark tones in the leaves, and I may even add some little punches of dark just in the deepest darkest areas of the flower, too, just to really show us the depth and give it a little more contrast. I’m talking teeeeny little areas of dark sepia in the flower, not a lot of shading, just little crisp lines or “sensitive lines” in a few of the darkest places. Beautiful work!
