Hi Cathie, I really like the rich color you get on this. Good job! What it needs now is some more darks. As it is, it looks a bit flat. Look for that core shadow. Create it by adding a bit of dark sepia. And lighten the left edge a bit to show the reflective light. This will really make it look spherical. Also, darken to create a small grounding shadow. It could be as dark as the little spot on the right side. Contain it to just directly under the pear.

Very nice work, Cathie! Remember to leave a bit of the white paper for a bright, sparkling highlight to contrast your shadow side. Beautiful color here!
