Hi Cathie- the colors of the petals are really nice and you did a good job capturing those ruffled edges. When you start a drawing, try looking at it from all the different views and angles. Maybe a view that had the bud with it’s stem shown rather than the bud popping up above the flower. The middle flower petal looks short in comparison to the two side petals.
Beautiful ruffled petals. Would love to see a page just full of buds! 🙂 Again, really push those darks on this toned paper so that the 3d illusion intensifies. Great work!
